Holiday Potluck
Our most festive social event of the year, the holiday potluck will take place at the Ramada, on Thursday, December 15. Socializing starts at 4:30 and eating at 5:00. This will be a sweet and savory potluck, so please bring your favorite finger food, cookies, hearty appetizers, mulled wine, hot cider or other tasty treat.

Book Discussion Group
The group will meet in the Ramada on Tuesday, December 6, at 11:00 a.m. to discuss West with the Night and The Kitchen House. The January book selection is  Isaac's Storm: A Man, a Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History by Erik Larson. New members are always welcome. No sign up is necessary, just come to the discussion.

All Glammed Up for the Holidays
Thanks to the many volunteers who decorated the parks and monuments. We're by far the best looking neighborhood in GV.

The Theater Has Gone Dark
Movie night at the Ramada is taking a hiatus until the weather warms up.  Thanks to Jane & Eric Ellingson for having sponsored this popular weekly event.

Holiday Elves Ride to the Rescue
There's still time to contact the Enhancement Elves to trim your street light posts for the holiday season. But the elves need to get back to the North Pole after their work here is done, so make sure to contact them by December 15. If you don't have the time, or the energy, or you aren't here during the holidays, you can enlist the aid of the Elves.  They will do your decorating for a mere $10 if you have the decorations or $15 if you don't.  If you need the electrical plug-in to go in the socket in your post, the charge is an additional $2.00, but the adapter then becomes yours.  The charge includes both putting up and removing the decorations. Call Jackie Rautio at 269-7864 to schedule a visit.

Going, Going, Gone
Looking for a treasure, a bargain or just an afternoon of fun? The Enhancement Team will be holding it's first ever live auction at the Ramada on Friday, January 20 conducted by EE residents and professional auctioneers Gary and Joan Lee. The auction starts at 1:00 and you can preview items beginning at 12:00. Even if you don't participate in the auction, you'll find the event entertaining.  As with all Enhancement events, all proceeds will go to benefit our neighborhood. Refreshments will be available.
Enhancement is looking for interesting and/or high end items to include in the auction. If you have an item you would like to donate, contact Linda Sielken at 908-240-1887.
