Wednesday Night Movie
In the mood for a light comedy?  The movie this week is Along Came Polly with Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston.  Plot: A buttoned-up newlywed finds his too organized life falling into chaos when he falls in love with an old classmate.  Showtime is 7:00 p.m. at the Ramada. Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this popular event.

All Decked Out
Thanks to all the volunteers who decorated the monuments and common areas.  Take an after-dinner drive around EE to see the beautiful and creative lamp posts and common areas.

Residents Urged to Attend Pima County Meeting
Following the county's announcement that it plans no road repairs in our subdivision, EE Board Member and GVC Representative Joe McCalpin is urging residents to attend the Pima County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, December 12 at 9 am. Be at the Pima County Building, 300 W. Congress Street, Tucson by 8:30 am to get a seat in the boardroom.  Wear a frown and wave a copy of your property tax bill to let them know you're funding Pima County roads.  Can't attend?  Joe has a petition at the Ramada that you can sign; contact Joe at 520-867-8067 or by email to joemccalpin37@gmail.com

Carols and Cookies at the Ramada
The Elementary School Choir from Continental School will delight you with a program of carols at the Ramada on Thursday, December 21 at 1:30 pm.  EE residents are encouraged to arrive by 1 pm with a plate of cookies to share.  Linda and Kevin Welsh have arranged for the performance and will have coffee and cider ready.
Donations to the school music program will be appreciated.  If you file taxes in Arizona, you can take a dollar for dollar tax credit for contributions to schools.  It's a win/win.  Check out the procedure at this AZ tax link.
