First Day Party
Don't start that diet yet!  There's one more celebration to go.  Start the New Year off by attending our traditional luncheon potluck at 1:00 p.m. on January 1.  If exercise was one of your resolutions, you can walk instead of drive over to the Ramada.  Please bring your own table service, beverage and a dish to share. There will be coffee available if you stayed up to see in the new year.  Thanks to Jane Ellingson and Mona Sheffield for organizing this popular gathering.  If you'd like to help them set up, call Jane at 625-7782.

Auction
The Enhancement Team will be holding a live auction at the Ramada on Friday, January 20; they are still looking for donated items to auction.  Proceeds will benefit our neighborhood.
In addition to interesting or high-end items, the auction will include services.  For example, if you are a great cook, you could donate a homemade dinner.  (I'll bid on that one.)  Call Linda Sielken at 908-240-1887 to donate.

The Heat Is On
Kudos to Charlie Bonham for volunteering to be the Ramada propane heater supervisor.  He'll make sure we're toasty at those winter Ramada events.

Attention Fiber Artists
At the gathering on January 12 at 1:00, Marilyn Peasley will teach the group card-stamping using acrylic paints. She will kit the project for $5 each.  If you would like to attend, please sign up by calling or texting Barbara Copeland at 952-250-6716.  Tea and treats will also be served.

Hot Desert Christmas Collection
Thanks to the generosity of our neighborhood, $512 was raised as a seasonal gift for our landscapers.  These guys always go above and beyond for EE.

Neighborhood Watch Program
The Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteers Neighborhood Watch Team invites you to a training event being held at Desert Hills GVR Facility on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The "There's No Place like Home and Neighborhood Watch" program will give you an opportunity to learn about Neighborhood Watch and how to help maintain it.
