Burger Night: A Night Off from Cooking!
Tuesday, November 10th, 4:30 socialize, 5:00 p.m. dinner The Hospitality Team brings back this popular event with chefs Dave Sielken and Vern Wise at the grill. No reservations required and your $6 will get you a big juicy burger with the works (or a cheeseburger or veggie burger), chips, pickles, cookies, beer, wine, pop (a/k/a soda) and water.  Yum! Can't you just taste those burgers now?

Please remember the GV Food Bank when you attend a Ramada event and bring a donation if you can. The plastic tub is always at the Ramada. EE's contributions to the Food Bank are significant and greatly appreciated.

Special Board Meeting
The Board will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, November 12, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ramada to discuss the 2016 budget.  All EEHOA homeowners are invited.

November Board Meeting
The Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday November 16, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ramada. All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

Coffee & Donuts
Set your alarm clock so you don't miss this season's first free coffee & donuts.  Wednesday, November 18, 8:30 a.m. at the Ramada.  Many seasonal residents are now back, and this event is a great time to welcome them back. Thanks to the Cookes and the Millers for generously sponsoring this popular event.

No Yoga
There will be no yoga classes the week of November 16.  Instructor Valerie will be attending an intensive training class on yoga for seniors.  Classes resume on Monday, November 23.

Toss Your Hat in the Ring
Interested in taking a leadership role in our HOA by serving on the Board?  If you would like to become a candidate, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee: Mary Beth Wallace (399-0299), Cynthia Surprise (857-209-1978) or Ben Sheffield (625-3797).

EE's Black Friday Event
The EE Artisans will hold an arts and crafts sale in the Ramada on Friday, November 27, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. There are some very talented folks in our neighborhood, and this event will be a great chance to buy some of their unique crafts. Any resident who is interested in selling their items should contact Barbara Copeland atjlbrcopeland@aol.com or (952) 250-6716 to reserve a table. There is no fee for selling items. This is not a fund-raiser, and sellers can keep all the profits from their sales.

Sakos Keep It Cool
Thanks to Jerry and Lillian Sako for generously donating a refrigerator for Ramada events. This just proves once again what a wonderful, giving neighborhood EE is.

Congratulations
To Karen White who just graduated from the Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteer Academy
and to Bill Berdine who was recently elected president of the Green Valley Gardeners.
Thanks to both of them for volunteering to help our GV community.

Aqua Exercisers Wrap It Up
Morning temperatures in the 40's have taken their toll on attendance for the aqua exercise classes; classes are suspended until spring temperatures again draw a crowd. Participants may now wrap up in their chenille robes and pour themselves another cup of coffee without guilt.

Hospital Tour
Many of us took the tour of the new GV Hospital last spring when it first opened.  Now that the hospital is up and running, Vern Wise has offered to schedule a tour for EE residents, focusing on out-patient services.  These include imaging, cath lab, infusion/transfusion, surgery, pulmonary, cardiology, nuclear medicine, stress test, and gastroenterology lab.  If you are interested in going on a group tour, contact Vern at marvern@comcast.net. Tour date to be determined later.

SAV Event
Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteers Neighborhood Watch team will be presenting "There's No Place Like Home and Neighborhood Watch" on Tuesday, November 10, at the GVR Las Campanas meeting room from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Seating is still available, so you are welcome to attend even if you did not RSVP.

Customer Appreciation Day
Trico Electric is having a member appreciation day at Old Tucson Studios on Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. By presenting a recent bill you will get admission for up to four people and a food and beverage voucher. There are also games, entertainment and a chance to win an iPad.
