The Game is On!
Pickleball is back! Check out the courts at 9 am on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to see who's ready for a game.  Get some practice in now so you can outscore late arrivals.

Defiance is the Movie of the Week
The Wednesday EE movie will be the 2008 American war movie, Defiance.  Daniel Craig stars as Tuvia Bielski who, with his brothers Zus, Asiel and Aron, led an armed Jewish resistance to the Nazi occupation of Belarus. Start time is 7p.m.

Ribbon Cutting at the New Storage Facility
An open house will be held on Sunday, November 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the storage facility at the tennis/pickleball courts on Circulo del Sur.  Take a tour of this long awaited and much needed facility and enjoy light refreshments, compliments of the Enhancement group.

EE Budget/Board Meeting Set for November 14
The Budget Committee will meet at 10 am on the Monday, November 14th for further discussion of the 2017 budget.  If 5 or more board members show up, it will be an official meeting of the board.

EE Artisans Trip
The Artisans will visit the Tucson Museum of Art on Tuesday, November 15 with docent and neighbor Linda Hoy.  Lunch will follow the tour.  Museum admission fee is $8.00 and lunch will run around $10-15.  Not an Artisans member? You're also welcome to join them.

Ramada Clean Up
The Enhancement Team can still use some willing hands to help clean-up the Ramada on Nov. 17. If you've a power washer they'd like to use it. Bring a bucket & sponge if you can pitch in. They'll be starting at 9:00 a.m.

Book Exchange
The Book Exchange cabinet at the Ramada was recently organized making it easy to find a great book for your reading pleasure, and many new titles have been added.  Check it out.

Snake Avoidance Training
If your curious canine companion is new to the area, consider snake avoidance training. Trainers will introduce your furry friend to rattlesnakes, their smell and sound, and teach Lassie to back off rather than investigate.

Ramada Sale
Cleaning up some of your clutter before your guests arrive for the holidays?  It's never too early to donate items for the Enhancement Team's annual Ramada sale in March.

Fountain Fix 
Craig Surprise and Tom Cooke have repaired the fountain in Sunset Park and after a little more fine tuning it will be operational again.  An earlier attempted repair by a hired handyman failed when the water timer stopped functioning, causing the new pump he had installed to promptly burn out. We have replaced the timer so that won't happen again. Many residents report they enjoy seeing the fountain working as they pass by the Park. Our winged winter visitors also enjoy it.

No You Can't.  Yes You Can. No You Can't. Well, Maybe
If you missed the Arizona battle over depositing your neighbor's write-in ballot at the polls on Tuesday, an expedited trip through the courts ended with the US Supreme Court upholding Arizona's ban on depositing anyone's ballot other than your roommate's or spouse's.  If you collected ballots on Friday, November 4th, while the matter was still in question, your options will be clear as mud after reading this Arizona Republic article. This year EE's residents will vote at the Casa Paloma I Recreation Center at 400 North Circulo del Paladin.  Wondering if your early ballot made it by the deadline? Check on the Pima.gov website.
