Brrr!  It's hard to hold a yoga pose when you're shivering. Yoga classes will now start at 3:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Holiday Elves Are Back
No "Bah Humbug" heard here!  EE has a long-standing tradition of decorating our street light posts for the holiday season from Thanksgiving to New Years.  If you don't have the time, or the energy, or you aren't here during the holidays, you can enlist the aid of the Enhancement Elves.  They will do your decorating for a mere $10 if you have the decorations or $15 if you don't.  If you need the electrical plug-in to go in the socket in your post, the charge is an additional $2.00, but the adaptor then becomes yours.  The charge includes both putting up and removing the decorations.  Deadline for this service is December 15, so if you want the elves to work their magic at your lamp post, call Jackie Rautio at 269-7864. They do extremely nice work.

Enhancement Team Raffle
Wouldn't a lovely pastel painting of Mt. Hopkins from the east side be a fabulous touch for your EE home?  The pastel was created by Susie Hanley from the Tubac area.  The estimated value of the framed painting is in the $300 range and can be yours for the price of a ticket for the Enhancement Team's raffle. The more you buy, the better your chances. Tickets are $1.00 for 1 or 6 for $5.00. The painting will be on display and you can purchase a ticket at the Holiday Potluck on December 15 and at the First Day Celebration on January 1 when the winning ticket will be pulled.

Book Discussion Group
The Book Discussion Group will meet on December 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ramada.  New members are always welcome for this hour of lively discussion.

Are You Looped?
Thanks to the efforts of Frank McCabe and Craig Surprise, the entire Ramada is now wired for looped hearing devices. This means that those with the appropriate hearing aids should find it easier to hear whenever a microphone is used at a Ramada function such as board meetings and movies.

Paint the Town Red!
...or at least the fire hydrants.  A volunteer has given our hydrants a new coat of red paint just in time to look spiffy for the holidays.

Artisans Sale a Great Success
Thanks to the Artisans for a very enjoyable afternoon of shopping without having to fight the crowds at the mall.  What a talented group of people we have in EE.  Hope this will become an annual event.
