Coffee & Donuts
Free coffee & donuts will be available in the Ramada on Wednesday,
November 15, at 8:30 a.m. Thanks to Tom Cooke
and Craig Surprise for sponsoring this popular event.
Hospitality Event
The Hospitality Committee will hold another great event at the
Ramada on Saturday, November 18, starting with
a social hour at 5:00 p.m. followed by the meal
at 5:30.
Lasagna, salad, garlic bread, dessert, beer, wine, and sodas.
Cost is $7.00.
Now Showing
Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Ramada. This
week's movie is Hidden Figures, the story of a team of
female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role
in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program.

November Board Meeting
Wednesday, November 20 at 1 p.m. at the
Ramada is the next regularly scheduled EE Board meeting. The
budget will be presented, discussed, and voted upon. The light
may shine on street lamps, once again. It's entirely possible
that a few last minute dark horses will leap over their
trepidation and volunteer to run for board. Suspense is in the
air.
Arts & Crafts Fair -- Important Change
The EE Artisans have decided to open their sale to buyers
from outside of EE. You must, however, be an EE resident to be
a seller. The sale will take place on Saturday,
December 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Ramada. If
you are interested in selling your items, please contact Marla
Ries at gvmarlaries@gmail.com.
You may only sell handcrafted items and will be limited to one table.
Hospitality Committee Meeting
The committee will meet on Tuesday
at 11:00 a.m. in the
Ramada to plan next year's social events. New members are
always welcome. Come to the meeting and bring your ideas.
EE Gardeners Meeting
The EE Gardeners will meet on Wednesday, November
15 at the Ramada following the morning Coffee & Donuts (around
9:00 a.m).
This will be their first meeting of the year and the focus
will be to share and discuss ideas and activities for the
coming year. If you can't attend, please send your ideas to Jim
Copeland at jlbrcopeland@aol.com.
Tennis Anyone?
The EE tennis group welcomes new members. The group meets at the
tennis courts on Circulo del Sur on Fridays at 8:00 a.m.
Try Pickleball
Pickleball is going strong in EE, and they can
always use more players -- the more the merrier.
If you have never played, come up and give it a try and
let them win you over. Instruction is always
available. They play every day except Friday at 8:00
at the pickleball courts on Circulo del Sur. For

EE Board Elections 2018
Learn what makes your homeowner's association tick.
Participate in local government. Get acquainted with your
neighbors. Run for the EE Board. Part-time residents are
encouraged to run. Monthly meetings are scheduled for the third
Monday of each month except July and August, but it is
acceptable to be out of town for a couple of them.

West Desert Trails
The trails in the west desert land next to EE is on property
owned by Freeport-McMoRan. According to their website, you need
a permit to use the trails. You can obtain a permit by visiting
their website: wdtrails.com.
