Wednesday Night Movie 
This week's movie on Wednesday at 7:00 at the Ramada is Rain Man, starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. A fast-talking yuppie is forced to slow down when he meets the brother he never knew he had, an unusually gifted autistic savant named Raymond.

Book Discussion Group
The group will meet at the Ramada on Tuesday, October 8, at 1:00 p.m. to discuss The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks by Jeanne Theoharris. The book for November's discussion is Unliving the Dream by Sandra Vischer.
New members are always welcome to attend the lively discussions.

Happy Hour
The quiet days of summer are over, and social activities in EE are starting up again. Happy Hour at the Ramada every other Friday will resume on Friday, October 11 at 4:00 p.m. Here's how it works: no one is in charge; bring an appetizer to share; bring your own beverage; bring your own plates, napkins, utensils; clean up before you leave making sure all trash and recyclables are securely in their corral.

Arizona Senior Resources
The Arizona Attorney General's office will add you to their current e-mail scam warning list with a simple form and a click on their website.
A click on the Senior Toolkit on the same page will give you information on common scams and how to guard against them.

Volunteers Needed
The HOA is still looking for homeowners willing to serve on the Board of Directors. Several individuals have volunteered to serve on Architectural Control, but the Board would also like to find an additional person who is here full time.
