Pizza Party Tomorrow
Tuesday evening at 5 pm.  Bring $8 to the Ramada and you won't go home hungry. All you can eat (until we run out) pizza, salad, dessert and drinks will be set up by our own Hospitality crew. Tucson's National Pizza Company will be baking pizzas on site. Fresh from the oven pizza. Not cold, beaten up, greasy, delivery pizza. Could it get any better?  An evening with your neighbors makes it the best pizzeria in town.

Out of Africa Scheduled for Wednesday
Movie night this week features the epic romantic drama and winner of the 1985 Academy Award for Best Picture, Out of Africa, starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. Be at the Ramada on Wednesday evening in time to grab a tush cushion or two before the show starts at 7 pm.

The Healing Power of Writing Our Truths
The Santa Cruz Valley Chapter of the Society of Southwestern Authors will present a panel of local authors, including EE's own Denise Roessle at the Joyner Public Library Monday from 1-2:45 pm. Whether you're only thinking about journaling or currently writing for publication this discussion will provide encouragement.

Last Week to Register to Vote Before General Election
If you're a new resident of Arizona, you've still time to get your Arizona driver's license and register to vote. Technically the deadline is Monday, October 10, BUT that's a holiday and offices will be closed. Information on what's required for your license is at the Arizona Department of Transportation's website at  http://azdot.gov/docs/default-source/mvd-forms-pubs/96-0155.pdf?sfvrsn=16.  The local ADOT office is located between the Joyner Green Valley Library and the White Elephant.
