EEHOA Budget Committee Meeting
The Budget Committee will hold a budget review meeting on Wednesday,
October 24, at 1:00 PM in the Ramada. All homeowners
are welcome to attend.
A "Boo"tiful Event
The Hospitality Committee will hold a Halloween pizza
party on Wednesday, October 31, at the Ramada.
Happy hour starts at 4:30 PM
and dinner will be served at 5:00. A DJ will provide
music to keep the party going after dinner. Price is $8.00. Costumes
are optional -- show us your creativity.
Wednesday Night Movie
This week's movie at 7:00 PM at the Ramada
is Larry Crowne starring Tom Hanks and Julia
Roberts. After losing his job, a middle aged man goes back
to college. Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for
sponsoring this event.
Camino del Portillo Road Work
will begin this week....unless it rains. Work is expected to
take five days....unless it rains. Alternative routes are
recommended. With the White Elephant Parade road closures on
Saturday morning some thought should be given to bicycle and
helicopter transportation.
Attention Neighborhood Watch Block Captains
Neighborhood Watch Captain Karen White will be giving
you your NW zone sheets some time this week.
Light Out?
Residents are required to keep their street lights in
good working order for safety reasons. If your bulb is burned
out, an approved (13-watt, warm white, CFL) replacement bulb is
available for free from the HOA. Call Tom

Board of Directors Election
Each year, homeowners elect three members to the EEHOA
Board of Directors. Want to be a candidate? Call Board president Dave
Sielken at 908-346-1760 to toss your hat into the ring.
Attention EE Artisans
It's time to start preparing for EE's annual Arts & Crafts
Sale on Saturday, December 1, from 10:00 AM to noon at
the Ramada. The sale will be open to the public, so it's a good
way to give your creations wide exposure. To reserve a table,

GVC Addresses Speeding Concerns
The Green Valley Council would like residents to know that
they are aware of the problem of delivery companies and
waste removal companies speeding through HOAs in Green
Valley. GVC has sent letters to these companies to address
the issue.
Need to Spruce Up Your Yard?
The Green Valley Gardeners' Annual Fall Plant Sale is a
great place to buy plants. The sale runs from Thursday,
October 25, through Saturday, October 27. Hours
are Thursday and Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 1 or longer, depending on how much
merchandise is left. The sale will be located in the northeast
corner of Continental Plaza.
Open House at Green--Oops--Santa Cruz Valley Hospital
The Santa Cruz Valley Hospital (aka Green Valley Hospital)
invites you to an open house on Tuesday from 4-6 pm.
Tour the hospital, meet the staff, enjoy refreshments and
never receive a bill for this hospital visit.
It's Madness!
Attention shoppers: the White Elephant's annual Midnight
Madness event is Thursday, October 25, from 3:00 PM to
6:00 PM. For you new residents, that's 'midnight'
Green Valley style.
Also note that the White Elephant parade will be on Saturday,
October 27, starting at 10:00 AM. Access to La
Canada from Desert Bell to Continental will be limited
beginning at 7:30 am.
