EEHOA Board Meeting Today The Board is scheduled to meet at the Ramada today at 1:00 p.m.

New Board Member
The Board has appointed Cyndie Alto to the Board to fill the vacancy created by Max Perry's resignation.

Wednesday Night Movie (with an EE connection)
This week's movie on Wednesday at 7:00 at the Ramada is Airport starring Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin and George Kennedy. The film is a 1970 air disaster-drama film based on Arthur Hailey's 1968 novel of the same name. Kennedy's character, Joe Patroni, the airlines' chief mechanic, is based on EE resident Iona Davis's late husband, Roy. In fact, Roy was hired by the studio to be a consultant on any scenes that were based on his actual experiences. Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

Join us for complimentary coffee & donuts on Wednesday, October 23, at 8:30 AM at the Ramada to welcome back our seasonal neighbors and meet some of our new residents. Thanks to the Cookes and the Surprises for sponsoring this event.

Hospitality Welcome Back -- New Date
The Hospitality Committee will kick off the 'Winter' season on Tuesday, October 29th to avoid conflicts with several neighborhood Halloween parties. This will be a pot luck dinner (start making your witches' brew), so please bring an appetizer or main dish that would serve at least 8. Dessert, wine, beer and soft drinks are complimentary. Social hour begins at 4:30, and dinner will be served beginning at 5:00.

Attention Pickleball Players
If you play at a time other than the regular play time, please make sure to close the gates when you leave. We need to keep the four legged roamers out. Your guests who are non-HOA members are asked to pay a one time, ten dollar fee to cover this Winter season.

Important Reminder from the Board
Just a friendly reminder to anyone not living in a Quad. You are responsible for plant maintenance outside your patio or house walls to the sidewalk. Specifically, this means keeping them trimmed back or up so that they do not protrude out onto the sidewalk or hang down over the sidewalk.
As a service to absentee owners (and the neighbors who use the sidewalk) the HOA will do the necessary trimming and send a bill to you for reimbursement. For a frame-of-reference cost, the charge to trim back a large/short palm that is hanging over the sidewalk would be $100 if it can be done by Points West. This is the same charge as for trimming the taller palms in the Spring. Thanks to everyone for their continued support of our neighborhood.
