Wednesday Night Movie 
This week's movie on Wednesday at 7:00 at the Ramada is The Greatest Showman, a musical biographical drama film starring Hugh Jackman. The film is inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum's creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus and the lives of its star attractions. Thanks to Jane and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.

October EE Board Meeting on the Horizon
The EE HOA Board is scheduled to meet at the Ramada next Monday, October 21 at 1 pm.

Hospitality Welcome Back
After the summer lull, EE's new social season is starting up again. The Hospitality Committee has some wonderful events planned for us for the year. They'll kick off the season on Halloween, Thursday, October 31, at 4:30 for social time and 5:00 for dinner. The plans aren't finalized yet, but stay tuned for details.

Book Discussion Group December Date Change
The group generally meets the second Tuesday of the month. However, the date of the December gathering has been changed to December 17 and may include lunch. We wanted to let you know early because December is such a busy month, but we'll remind you when it gets closer.

Big Boy on the Rails
Keep an eye out as you drive across the southwest this fall. Big Boy 4014, the restored Union Pacific steam train is leaving Los Angeles on October 15th and will make it's way on the rails through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Check out the schedule for its stops and routes. It's currently scheduled to arrive at Tucson's Historic Train Depot on Thursday, October 17th and will be on display Friday, October 18th from 9-3 at the Union Pacific Yard at East Silverlake Road and East Fairland Stravenue.

Volunteers Needed
The HOA is still looking for homeowners willing to serve on the Board of Directors. Several individuals have volunteered to serve on Architectural Control, but the Board would also like to find an additional person who is here full time. If you are interested in serving our HOA, please contact Dave Sielken at 908-346-1760.

Celebration of Life
Scottie Blum will hold a Celebration of Life to remember her husband, Fred, who passed away in June. It will be held on Sunday, October 20, from 1:00 to 3:00 at American Legion Post 66 on Duval Mine Road.

In Memoriam 
Former longtime EE resident Herb Graffweg (Vereda Calma) passed away on September 25. Our condolences to his family and friends.
