What's the Book Discussion Group Reading?
The book group has selected the titles they will be
discussing for the next three months: State
of Wonder by
Anne Patchett in November, Range
of Motion by
Elizabeth Berg in December and The
Last Days of Dogtown in
January. The group meets the first Tuesday of every
month at 11:00 a.m. in the Ramada for lively discussions
of some interesting books. New members are always
welcome. If you are new to EE, this is the perfect way
to meet new people. Call Cindy

What Up With the Wi-Fi?
The Wi-Fi at the Ramada has been feeling a bit sluggish
and cantankerous lately. It could be because of the
weather or, like the rest of us, it just has bad days.
Regardless of what's gotten into it, Craig
Surprise has
been doing his best to coax it back into shape.
Hopefully CenturyLink will have a solution by the end
of the day on Monday. |
EE Artisans
The EE Artisans will hold their first meeting of the
season on Thursday, October 29 at 1:00 p.m. at
the Ramada. Mark your calendars now for their first
excursion to Tohono Chul in Tucson to view the gallery
exhibition featuring "El Dia de Los Muertos" (Day of the
Dead) celebration on November
5(tentative). Lunch at the park will follow.

Time to Think About Your Halloween Costume?
Costumes will be encouraged and perhaps even rewarded at
the annual EE Halloween gathering. Mark your calendar
for Saturday, October 31. Pull
out your best fall recipes for a potluck contribution
and head for the Ramada at 4:30 pm to lift a libation
before the chow line sets up.
If you have a decorated
pumpkin to show off, please, bring it with you to use as
