Wednesday Night Movie This week's movie at 7:00 PM at the Ramada is Patch Adams starring Robin Williams. The true story of a heroic man, Hunter "Patch" Adams, determined to become a medical doctor because he enjoys helping people. He ventured where no doctor had ventured before, using humour and pathos. Kudos to the Hospitality Committee They've done it again.  Another successful social event was held at the Ramada on Saturday.  Hats off to this hard working crew.

No-Host Happy Hour Marla Ries is introducing a new social activity for our community: an every-other-week (likely to change to weekly) happy hour at the Ramada, starting on Friday, October 5, at 5:00 PM.  No one is in charge of the party, everyone brings their own beverage, glasses, plates, utensils, etc, and an appetizer to share.  Just another way to meet, greet, and spend more time with your EE neighbors.

New Arizona Medicare Cards Being Mailed  Medicare cards are now being mailed to Arizona residents.  They'll not all be mailed at once, so don't worry if your neighbor's card arrives before yours.  But keep an eye on that mailbox. If you have an online MyMedicare.gov account, you can log in to see if your new card has been mailed.  And don't forget to take that new card with you to your pharmacy and medical providers.  NO ONE will be calling you to find out the new number.  Medicare will cross reference old and new numbers for your insurance company.

Green Valley Library One Day Closure According to their website, the Green Valley library will be closed on Monday, October 8 for an all staff day.  If you desperately need something to read that day, you can always stop by the EE Book Exchange in the pool area.
