The 2017 Annual EE HOA meeting is Thursday at 1 pm. Registration begins at 12:30 pm at the GVR Canoa Hills Social Center, 3660 South Camino del Sol.

EE Name and Address Directories
Need to call someone in EE or figure out who lives at a particular EE address?  An EE directory is just what you need. You can purchase the 2017 directory at the annual meeting on Thursday.  If you can't attend the meeting, you can buy one by contacting Mary Beth Wallace at merrymary7@q.com.

Enhancement Team Auction Friday
The Enhancement Team live auction is happening Friday. Preview items starting at noon at the Ramada. The auction starts promptly at 1:00 pm. Please note, you'll need to show a driver's license or other form of identification to register to bid on items. Cash and checks are the only acceptable forms of payment. Proceeds benefit our neighborhood.

Donate to the Enhancement Team Auction
The team is still looking for more items to sell in the auction.  Interesting or high/end items are the focus.  If you just love cleaning house, you could donate window washing or dusting or floor mopping. That might garner some amazing bids...and maybe a psych eval. Call Linda Sielken at 908-240-1887 to donate.

Coffee and Donuts on Wednesday
Thanks to Tom Cooke and Craig Surprise, breakfast on Wednesday is in the bag.  Actually it'll be in the box. Stop by the Ramada at 8:30 am to enjoy coffee, donuts and good neighbors.

Attention EE Gardeners
Gardeners will be at Mountain View Park (southwest corner of EE on S. Circulo Napa) on Wednesday, January 18 at 9:00AM for a park clean up. We will be removing dead plantings and trimming.  Everyone is welcome. Please bring gloves and tools. Plan on up to 2 hours. It will be a good time for fresh air. Make Your Own Greeting Cards
Come to the Artisans' gathering on Thursday, January 26, from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. at the Ramada to learn to make your own greeting cards.  To attend, you must make a reservation by contacting Barbara Copeland at jlbrcopeland@aol.com or 952-250-6716. Please bring $5.00 to pay the instructor for 2 card kits.  Also bring "adhesive running tape" which can be purchased at Michaels or the card shop in GV Mall. Several people could share tape.

Chili Cook-off Winners
Congratulations to 1st Place Winner Virginia Arndt (Green Mexican Chile), 2nd Place Winner Shirley Rinker (Great North White Bean Chili) and 3rd Place Winner Dean Lockwood (Sweet Pepper Chili).

Sausage Fest Scheduled for February 9
With that New Year's workout schedule, you'll have no trouble working off all those chili tastings and cornbread samplings by February 9.  Mark Hospitality's next event on your calendar today.

In Memoriam
Our condolences to the family of Ellie Franz.  Ellie passed away January 9 at the Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Home where she had spent many happy hours. Keep saving those aluminum pop tops and depositing them at the Ramada, please. They'll still be delivered to her friend and donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
