Ballot Bouncing Around?
Still haven't seen the 2018 EE Board Ballot? Hmmm. Did you accidentally shred it or toss it with that pile of Christmas cards? Don't copy your neighbor's ballot. Contact Secretary Kris Bean at eekris2017@outlook.com or 520-777-8658. Leave your name, property address, phone, and lot # if you know it.  All ballots must be received by January 8.

Annual Meeting Reminder
The 2018 EE HOA Annual Membership meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the
Community Performance and Art Center (CPAC), 1250 W. Continental Road, Green Valley. Check-in (by lot #) starts at 1:30 p.m.

Hospitality Event
Save Saturday, January 13th for the Baked Potato Bar at the Ramada! There will be potatoes and a variety of toppings, including pulled pork. The cost is $8.00 per person, and includes potato bar, dessert, wine, beer and soft drinks. Cocktail hour begins at 4:30, and the buffet begins at 5:00. There will be a collection bin for food donations to the Food Bank.

Hospitality Committee Meeting
There will be a short meeting on Wednesday, January 10th at 11:00 AM at the Ramada to finalize plans for the Baked Potato Bar event coming up on Jan. 13th. It is also an opportunity to greet members who just arrived in Green Valley, and to hopefully welcome any newcomers who may be interested in joining the committee.

Gardeners' Auction and Raffle
At the January 13 hospitality dinner, Terry Shay and Jim Copeland will conduct an auction and raffle of mesquite items to support the EE Gardeners for 2018. An additional special auction item will be an original painting by artist Steve Day. Please come to support garden enhancements at EE.

Attention New Residents
Just a reminder that the Bienvenidos Committee's annual reception for new residents will take place on Wednesday, January 10. If you haven't already replied to the invitation we delivered to your house last week, please RSVP by Wednesday, January 3, to Barb McCalpin (520-867-8067) or Cynthia Surprise (857-209-1978).

You Too Can Paint a Shoe
Give your old throw away shoes a new life. On Thursday January 11, from 1-3 PM, the Fiber Arts Group will once again be painting shoes at the Ramada. Please feel free to join in the fun. Paints and brushes will be supplied. If you prefer to buy your own, Joann's sells starter sets of "Lumiere by Jacquard." They are about $15 for 8 colors. Shoes can be leather, plastic or canvas, but the best results are with shoes that have defined areas so you can paint them with several colors. Sandals with straps and overlapping seams work very well. Questions? Call Joey at 777-7728. Those of you who have done this before, please bring what you've painted to show others. If you have old plastic table coverings to protect our tables, they would be appreciated.

Trash
One day delay in trash and recycle pick up this week.
