Dear Community Member:

MESSAGE FROM THE GVC PRESIDENT

I would like to take a moment to talk about one of the many valuable community services provided by the Green Valley Council. Free to our members and available for a nominal charge to non-members, the GVC provides Notary Public services during office hours on Monday through Thursday. Last year, 147 Notary Services were performed. We are well on the way to passing that number. Please call 520-648-1936 or go online at gvcouncil.org for an appointment, (required) and our staff will be happy to accommodate!

We are pleased to partner with Pima County and our community partners in providing a broad range of forums. Past forums covered water issues, private road remediation, fire abatement, drainageway maintenance, social and mental health services. Also were topics concerning our parks from the office of Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation, safety with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, and dealing with Arizona wildlife. The GVC Standing Committees continue their challenging work to address the issues that impact Green Valley.

Here are some of the benefits available only with your GVC membership: free Notary services, legal workshops, HOA board trainings, HOA workshops, HOA mediation, HOA spotlight on the GVC website, GVC information services, access to the Preferred Vendor Program, and access to non-Pima County workshops and forums.

Thirty-three HOAs did not have representation at the February Board of Representatives meeting. You do not want to miss the March 17 meeting. Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos will be presenting.

Best Regards,

Debbie Kenyon
